“Imagine being homeless during these days and nights of oppressive heat. Where could you go to get just a few minutes of cooling relief during the day? How about at night? This dilemma can be especially hard on young children.

The Lewisville Salvation Army staff would like to attach a 12-spigot cold water mister system to one side of the Service Center Building. It would provide a brief cooling respite for adults and children.

The cost of such a system and installation is approximately $250 -$300. The Salvation Army-Lewisville needs a few public donors to fund this project. Just 12 individual donations of $25 will cover the full cost.
