Denton, TX, January 14, 2015– Join the Denton Dash for Public Schools 5K Run/ 1 Mile Walk on Saturday, March 28th at South Lakes Park., Benefiting Scholarship funds, teacher’s grants, and continuing education for Denton School’s PTA leadership.
In its 3rd year, the Denton Dash is a chip timed race, with runners of all ages. Sponsored by McAlister’s Deli, The Sports Authority, M5 Realty, Jostens, The Cross Timbers Gazette and 380 Guide/380 News, race check-in begins at 7:30 AM.
“The Denton Dash for Public Schools is designed to promote healthy living for Denton’s families, while benefitting all of our local schools,” stated Amanda McLeod, Denton Dash organizer. “This is Denton Community Council of PTAs opportunity to bring all of our campuses together for a single, get-fit event.”

All participants will receive a complimentary rack package, including a Denton Dash for Public Schools race day shirt and tons of discounts for shopping provided by local race supporters.
