As part of a season-long program, ¡Yo Quiero! has teamed up with Dave Campbell’s Texas Football to honor some of Texas high school football’s brightest figures — team moms! On September 1st, ¡Yo Quiero! recognized Shauna Martin, Team mom from Guyer High School with a Team Mom Appreciation Award for going above and beyond to support the Guyer Wildcats throughout the season.

“We are always impressed with the collective commitment it takes to keep those iconic Friday Night Lights shining week after week here in Texas,” said Jay Alley, Co-Owner and Vice President of ¡Yo Quiero!. “That is in no small part because of the scores of supportive, friends, families, coaches, and, especially, Team Moms.”

This season, ten Team Moms who have had a positive effect on their community will be selected and presented with an award and a $500 donation back to their school during this fall when Texas high school football is front and center. Martin, alongside the other nine Team Moms selected this season, will be eligible for the Ultimate Team Mom of the Year Award when voting begins at texasfootball.com at the end of the season.

Tara Murray, VP of Marketing for ¡Yo Quiero! shared that “Texans should be on the lookout for ¡Yo Quiero! and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football crew at games around the state as they honor these deserving individuals during the 2023 Texas high school football season while satisfying the crowd’s craving for everyone’s favorite dips from Texas!”

Based in Rhome, Texas, ¡Yo Quiero! is the groundbreaking family-focused dip company that is interrupting the Guacamole, Salsa and Queso category nationally by creating everyone’s favorite dips with flavor galore made with quality “Better for You” ingredients. “At the heart of it all, we’re making it easier for football fans and families to enjoy their favorite foods together, in a better-for-you way, while celebrating the gridiron, at home and in the stands,” said Murray.
