UNT Mean Green Cruises to 36-14 Heart of Dallas Bowl Win Over UNLV

UNT senior quarterback Derek Thompson threw two touchdown passes as the North Texas Mean Green beat the UNLV Rebels, 36-14, in the Heart of Dallas Bowl. The Mean Green third postseason victory came in front of a strong turnout of 38,380 on a sunny day, nine years after North Texas played the last of four straight bowls in New Orleans.
