ACHIEVERS GYMNASTICS GIRLS COMPULSORY TEAMS CONCLUDE SEASON ON HIGH NOTE!

Gymnasts Achieve 61 Top 5 Placements and 106 Top 10 Placements 

DENTON, TX – Gymnasts from Achiever’s Gymnastics Center completed their competition season with a strong performance at the Friends of Achievers Invitational on February 23-24, 2019.  This competition was attended by gymnasts from several states including Alaska with many Achievers gymnasts placing at or near the top of the competition.

Gold Medals were won at this competition by Hanna Holzer, from Denton, Shelbie Donaldson, from Decatur, Isabelle Escobedo, from Sanger, Emmarese Harrison, from Decatur, Elizabeth Forsythe, from Lantana, Alaina Roberts, from Denton, Ashley Skoog, from Denton, and Cassidy Jones, from Corinth.  Holzer took home the Gold Medal on Balance Beam in Level 5 Sr. A Division.  Holzer also won Silver Medals on Uneven Bars and in the All-Around competition, as well as a Bronze Medal on Vault.  Donaldson earned Gold Medals on Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and All Around in Level 4 Jr. B Division!  Escobedo took 1^st on Vault in Level 4 Jr. A Division.  Roberts took home Gold medals on Balance Beam, Floor Exercise, and in the All-Around competition in Level 3 Sr. A Division.  Roberts also won a Silver Medal on Uneven Bars.  Harrison earned Gold Medals on Vault and Balance Beam in Level 3 Jr. A Division.  Harrison also took home the Bronze Medal in the All-Around competition.  Forsythe took 1^st on Balance Beam in Level 3 Jr. B Division.  Forsythe also took home a Silver Medal on Uneven Bars and a Bronze Medal on Floor Exercise and in the All-Around competition.  Skoog won a Gold Medal on Uneven Bars in Level 2.  Skoog also won a Bronze Medal in the All Around.  Jones earned a Gold Medal on Floor Exercise in Level 2.

 Additionally, Silver Medals were earned at this competition by Nadia Rodriguez, from Denton, Emma Gonzalez, from Corinth, and Piper McKee, from Decatur.  Rodriguez earned her Silver Medal on Vault in Level 5 Jr. A Division.  Rodriguez also earned the Bronze Medal on Floor Exercise.  Gonzalez won the Silver Medal on Vault in Level 4 Sr. A Division.  McKee took 2^nd on Balance Beam in Level 3 Jr. B Division.  McKee also won the Bronze Medal on Uneven Bars.

 Earning Bronze medals were Addyson Gochneaur, from Lantana, Anderson Terry, from Valley View, Emerson Settlemire, from Denton, Jolie Burr, from Denton, and Hailey Hulbin, from Corinth.  Gochneaur earned her Bronze Medals on Uneven Bars and in the All-Around competition in Level 4 Jr. A Division.  Terry won the Bronze Medal on Balance Beam in Level 4 Jr. B Division.  Settlemire placed 3^rd on Vault in Level 3 Jr. a Division.  Burr earned her Bronze Medal on uneven Bars in Level 3 Sr. A Division.  Hulbin won the Bronze on Balance Beam in Level 2.

The next competition for the Achievers Gymnastics compulsory level teams will be in August 2019.

 Achievers Gymnastics is owned and operated by Frank and Johnna Kudlac since 1992.  Celebrating 26 years serving the Denton community, the Achievers curriculum consists of many inter-working programs including Girls and Boys USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic gymnastics teams, Girls TAAF Teams, Parkour classes, Achievers Ninja Warrior Training, and various levels of recreational gymnastics, cheer, and tumbling classes for children of all ages.
