ACHIEVERS GIRLS OPTIONAL GYMNASTICS TEAMS BEGIN COMPETITION SEASON  

Gymnasts Achieve 5 Top 5 Placements and 22 Top 10 Placements 

DENTON, TX – Gymnasts from Achiever’s Gymnastics Center began their competition season at the Kurt Thomas Invitational in Grapevine, Texas, on January 11-13, 2019.  This competition was attended by more than 1000 gymnasts from 20 states with many Achievers gymnasts placing at or near the top of the competition.

Jade Ballard, from Argyle, earned the Gold medal on Floor exercise in Level 7 Sr. B division.  Kaden Weatherly, from Sanger, earned the Silver medal on Vault in Level 8 Jr. B division.  Weatherly also won the Bronze medal in the All-Around competition.  Also earning a Bronze medal was Lizzie DeNoon, from Argyle, who took 3^rd on Balance Beam in Level 10 Sr. division.

The next competition for the Achievers gymnastics team is the Metroplex Challenge to be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas on January 25-27, 2019.

Level 6, Sr. A Division:

Eden Brumfield, Denton, 5^th on Bars, 6^th on Vault.

Level 7, Jr. B Division:

Avery Futrell, Lantana, 6^th on Bars, 10^th All Around.

Jade Ballard, Argyle, 1^st on Floor, 5^th All Around, 7^th on Beam.

Madelyn Hurst, Aubrey, 10^th on Beam.

Level 8, Jr. A Division:

Korinne Madison, Aubrey, 6^th on Bars, 7^th on Vault, 8^th on Beam, Floor, and All Around.

Level 8, Jr. B Division:

Kaden Weatherly, Sanger, 2^nd on Vault, 3^rd All Around, 7^th on Beam and Floor, 8^th on Bars.

Level 8, Sr. A Division:

 Erika Gustafson, Denton, 7^th on Floor, 9^th All Around, 10^th on Beam.

Level 9, Sr. B Division:

Kaitlyn Kerns, Highland Village, 6^th on Beam and All Around, 7^th on Vault and Bars, 8^th on Floor.

Level 10, Sr. Division:

Lizzie DeNoon, Argyle, 3^rd on Beam.
