ACHIEVERS BOYS’ LEVEL 9 AND 10 GYMNASTS COMPETE AT THE TEXAS STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Gymnasts Achieve 14 top 10 places at the Texas State Championships 

DENTON, TX – Five gymnasts from Achiever’s Gymnastics Center Boys team competed in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Level 8-10 Texas State Championships March 19-21.

The Achievers boys competed extremely well with room to improve before moving on the regionals. All 6 of the Level 9 and 10 boys qualified to compete at the Region 3 Championships.

The boy’s team next meet will be the Region 3 Championships, comprised of 6 states in Lubbock, Texas on April 9-11.  Each of the boys will be fighting for a spot to qualify to the 2021 Junior Olympic National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida in May.

Isaac Griffin, Double Oak, Ring’s 2^nd, and Regional Championships Qualifier

Level 10 (15-16 years old):

Will Kudlac, Pilot Point, Floor 6^th, Pommel Horse 6^th, Ring’s 7^th, Parallel Bars 2^nd, Horizontal Bar 2^nd, All Around 4^th and Regional Championships Qualifier
Slayden Martin, Denton, Floor 7^th and Regional Championships Qualifier
Will Weiper, Corinth, Pommel Horse 9^th and Regional Championships Qualifier
Colby Aranda, Grapevine, Regional Championships Qualifier

Level 10 (17-18 years old):

Brahm Matzo, Northlake, Floor 2^nd, Ring’s 10^th, Vault 5^th, Parallel Bars 6^th, All Around 9^th and Regional Championships Qualifier
