DENTON--- Denton author James N. Patrick Sr., co-author of “Blood Profit$: The Lithium Conspiracy,” will sign books from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 14, at Kroger, 5021 Teasley Lane, in Denton.

Political thriller/novel “Blood Profit$” describes how three Americans work to uncover and expose a global conspiracy to defraud the nation of trillions of dollars in an operation funded by Washington war profiteering and illegal drug sales. The despicable activities are sanctioned by the CIA, controlled by organized crime and laundered by Wall Street traders.

“The main characters, Generation Xers, are like many people the readers probably know, and they face ethical and moral decisions throughout the story,” said Patrick, who owns Denton-based businesses Old Irish Bed & Breakfast - Wedding and Event Center, Old Irish Boutique and the Patricks’ Pastures Alpaca Ranch.

“Blood Profit$” is Patrick’s first book and co-author J. Victor Tomaszek’s fifth book.
