DoubleDave’s Pizzaworks, known for its franchise restaurant at 220 W. University Dr. in Denton, opened a second location May 19 at 1776 Teasley Lane, Suite 103. The Teasley Lane restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and will accept carry-out and delivery orders only.

Brothers Ali and Amir Kohandani are the franchisees of both Denton restaurants.

“The Teasley Lane restaurant will help us better serve customers in southern Denton,” Ali Kohandani said. “There isn’t a buffet, but all the pizzas customers love are on the menu.”

About 20 people work at both locations, Ali Kohandani said. Both have job openings.

Plans are underway for a grand-opening celebration in June.
