In honor of International Bus Driver Appreciation Day on March 18, Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) will host a “Selfie with Your Favorite Bus Operator” photo contest to encourage passengers and the local community to recognize and give a special thanks to the agency’s hard-working bus operators.

How the Contest Works
Passengers will strike a fun pose with their favorite DCTA bus operator and submit in 100 words or less why they’re the passenger’s favorite bus operator. The winner will be chosen based on creativity of the picture and description of their favorite DCTA bus operator and will win a free 10-Day Regional Pass Pack – a $70 value (valid on DCTA, DART, TRE and The T).

Contest Period
The contest will start March 5 and end March 14. Any entries submitted before or after the contest period will not be eligible.
