Achievers Gymnastics Center in Denton Announces new Recreation Program Director, Director of Summer Day Camps

Denton, TX - Achievers Gymnastics Center is pleased to announce the hiring of Jessica Pruitt.

Jessica brings a vast amount of gymnastics knowledge as well as directing/teaching experience to the Achievers’ recreational programs.

Jessica has been hired to the full-time position of recreational program director and in addition, will also direct the highly successful summer day camp program.  Jessica will also teach classes in the recreational program as her classes are extremely popular among Achievers students and parents.

This is not Jessica’s first time to work at Achievers.  She started her coaching career at Achievers in 2012 After coaching at Best Gymnastics in Flower Mound and most recently at WOGA (World Olympic Gymnastics Academy) in Frisco, Jessica has made the decision to return to her gymnastics coaching origins.

To quote Jessica, “I am thrilled to accept this position and be given the opportunity to grow the program that launched my coaching career! My goal is to provide a safe and friendly space for children to develop their gymnastics and teach them they can “Achieve” anything they put their mind to. Through supportive coaching and a positive environment, our students will be able to develop a skill set that can support them throughout their athletic career! I am so excited about the opportunity to return to Achievers.  With a long history of gymnastics success as well as an experienced coaching staff, I look forward to bringing my experience in building, directing, leading, and teaching in the most important program at Achievers – Recreational gymnastics!  The recreational program is the foundation to all other programs in the gym.  I look forward to working with all the students that come to Achievers and help continue the foundational success that Achievers has established for 28 years.”

When Jessica started at Achievers in 2012, she taught Discovery classes (ages 4 months to 2 years), preschool and recreational classes.  In her time away, she was able to gain valuable teaching and coaching experience and managing insight and is excited to be back “home”.
Jessica was named Recreational Director after the departure of D’Ann Owens who held that position for 10 years.  Quoting Kudlac, “D’Ann did an outstanding job directing our recreational programs.  We were blessed to have D’Ann for all these years. During the search and interview process for her replacement, it only made sense to me that Jessica was the obvious choice. She knew our gym culture and has already taken ownership of this position and has assembled an outstanding support staff that will help her improve and continue to grow our recreational programs.  Her passion to teach, her organizational skills and attention to detail will be a big asset to all the programs she will be leading including our extraordinarily successful summer camp program. “

Jessica resides in McKinney Texas and outside of the gym enjoys outdoor adventures and spending time with her good friends.
