Achievers Gymnastics Boys Team Compete at the 2019 Texas State Championships
5 boys placed 26 times in the top 10 Finishes at the 2019 Texas State Championships 

DENTON, TEXAS – The Level 9 and Junior Developmental Team from Achievers Gymnastics Center’s Boys Gymnastics competed in the Texas State Gymnastics Championships in Kingwood, Texas on March 15th-17th, 2019.

All 5 athletes qualified to the coveted 2019 Region 3 Championships which include 6 states. They will compete at the Regional Championship in Rockwall, Texas on April 5th-7th.

RESULTS:

Level 9: Individual
Junior Olympic – 13/14-year-olds:
Colby Aranda – Grapevine, Texas – Floor 6th, Pommel Horse 7th, Rings 4th, Vault 9th, Parallel Bars 5th, Horizontal Bar 5th and All Around 7th.
Will Kudlac – Pilot Point, Texas – Floor 3rd, Pommel Horse 6th, Rings 10th, Vault 13th, Parallel Bars 8th, Horizontal Bar 9th and All Around 5th.

Junior Developmental: Individual

Division 1 – 12-14-year-olds:
Slayden Martin – Denton, Texas – Floor 15th, Rings 9th, Vault 5th, Parallel Bars 13th, Horizontal Bar 13th and All Around 15th
Will Weiper – Corinth, Texas – Floor, 3rd, Rings 5th, Vault 6th, Parallel Bars 6th, Horizontal Bar 8th and All Around 9th.

 

Division 1 – 15-18-year-olds:
Brahm Matzo – Northlake, Texas – Floor 6th, Rings 5th, Vault 4th, Parallel Bars 9th, Horizontal Bar 5th and All Around 14th.

The Level 8-10 Region 3 Championships will be the last meet of the year for Brahm Matzo, William Weiper and Slayden Martin. William Kudlac and Colby Aranda will be competing at Regionals for a chance to qualify to the 2019 Junior Olympic National Championships which will be held in Reno, Nevada in May.
