Jade Ballard – wins the Level 7 Sr C State championship title on Floor Exercise.

ACHIEVERS GIRLS LEVEL 7 GYMNASTS PERFORM WELL AT STATE

Ballard Wins Floor Exercise title, 2 Gymnasts Qualify to Regional Championships 

DENTON, TX – Gymnasts from Achiever’s GymnasticsCenter began their State competition schedule at the Texas USAG Level 7 State Championships in Frisco, Texas, on March 9-10, 2019.  This competition was attended by the top 450 Level 7 gymnasts from the State of Texas, with Achievers gymnasts placing at or near the top of the competition.

Winning the State Championship title and earning the Gold Medal on Floor Exercise in Level 7 Sr. C Division was Jade Ballard, from Argyle.  Ballard also took home a Silver Medal on Balance Beam and the Bronze Medal in the All Around.

In addition, competing at this State Championships for Achievers Gymnastics were Raegan Baker, from Burneyville, Oklahoma, Avery Futrell, from Lantana, Piper Gow, from Lantana, and Madelyn Hurst, from Aubrey.

Ballard and Raegan Baker qualified to the Region 3 Level 7 USAG Regional Championships to be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on April 5-7, 2019.  Region 3 is comprised of athletes from Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and Texas.

The next competition for the Achievers Gymnastics team is the Texas Level 9-10 State Meet, to be held in Lubbock, Texas, on March 15-17, 2019,

COMPETITION RESULTS:

Level 7, Sr. C 2 Division:

Jade Ballard, Argyle, 1st on Floor, 2nd on Beam, 3rd All Around, 5th on Bars, 8th on Vault.  REGIONAL QUALIFIER.

Level 7, Sr. C 3 Division:

Madelyn Hurst, Aubrey, 9th on Bars.

Level 7, Sr. A 1 Division:

Raegan Baker, from Burneyville, Oklahoma, 6th on Bars, 10th on Floor.  REGIONAL QUALIFIER.

Avery Futrell, Lantana, 9th on Beam, 10th on Vault.
