Gymnasts Achieve 14 top 10 places at the Texas State Championships 

DENTON, TX – Five gymnasts from Achiever’s Gymnastics Center Boys team competed in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Level 8-10 Texas State Championships March 19-21.

The Achievers boys competed extremely well with room to improve before moving on the regionals. All 6 of the Level 9 and 10 boys qualified to compete at the Region 3 Championships.

The boy’s team next meet will be the Region 3 Championships, comprised of 6 states in Lubbock, Texas on April 9-11.  Each of the boys will be fighting for a spot to qualify to the 2021 Junior Olympic National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida in May.

Isaac Griffin, Double Oak, Ring’s 2nd, and Regional Championships Qualifier

Level 10 (15-16 years old):

Will Kudlac, Pilot Point, Floor 6th, Pommel Horse 6th, Ring’s 7th, Parallel Bars 2nd, Horizontal Bar 2nd, All Around 4th and Regional Championships Qualifier
Slayden Martin, Denton, Floor 7th and Regional Championships Qualifier
Will Weiper, Corinth, Pommel Horse 9th and Regional Championships Qualifier
Colby Aranda, Grapevine, Regional Championships Qualifier

Level 10 (17-18 years old):

Brahm Matzo, Northlake, Floor 2nd, Ring’s 10th, Vault 5th, Parallel Bars 6th, All Around 9th and Regional Championships Qualifier

Achievers Gymnastics is owned and operated by Frank and Johnna Kudlac since 1992.  Celebrating 27 years serving the Denton community, the Achievers curriculum consists of many inter-working programs including Girls and Boys USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic gymnastics teams, Girls TAAF Teams, Parkour classes, Achievers Ninja Warrior Training, and various levels of recreational gymnastics, cheer, and tumbling classes for children of all ages.
